Missing punctuation

  • I’ve noticed that since the latest upgrade to WordPress 5.2.2 Gutenburger isn’t always allowing punctuation. Such as apostrophes or parentheses. It isn’t happening often but I’ve noticed it happens periodically. I don’t know if this is a glitch or bug. When a word’s spelling is corrected it will allow the apostrophe but when I try to add it during taping it doesn’t show up.

    I wasn’t able to duplicate this issue on my site, but I did find a thread in which someone else seemed to be having the same problem.

    @taratabrizi thanks I’ll check into it. I did notice there was an update of my theme and another plugin during this time. I had also cleared my browser cache but I figured it was something else. It will correct the error but i use Grammarly as well so i thought maybe there was a conflict there. But thanks I will check it out.
