Missing Posts/Pages/Comments and Media

    On my site, https://www.7poundbag.com I have lost everything.

    The ads are still there, but all of the information is gone.

    Media Library is empty
    All Posts are gone
    Even the drafts are gone.

    I have disabled all Plug-ins, and changed the theme (From Caltropis)

    I have been running 3.6 for several weeks, so I don’t think that was the issue. My server is Host Gator.

    HELP

    I have no idea if they do a backup, or that works.

  • Check your database (do you have access to phpMyAdmin or another database viewer/editor?). And yes, check with your host and see if they do regular backups, including databases.

    You will have to forgive me, I have no idea what that is.

    I’m waiting on a response from Hostgator to see if they have any backups.

    Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
    It was a SQL error, and looking at the support for myAdmin got me on that path.

    But thank you.

    FYI: Hostgator does a weekly backup.
