• I wrote some articles and after a while, 4 of them disappeared. I can still see them on site admin -> manage but not on the main page.
    They are published.
I can still access them with the correct url so they still exist.
My posting date of some articles had changed simultaneous with the strange disparition of articles.

  • Well then you would guess a plugin or a theme template issue caused the problem.

Deactivate plugins, switch to the WordPress Default theme, do you see the posts then?

I’ve setted the default theme and nothing had changed.

The installed plugins are just: favicon-manager, local-user-avatars, official-statcounter-plugin-for-wordpress, statpress-reloaded, wp-useronline. And these plugins are installed about 2-3 months ago i think. I don’t think they could affect the good-working of the site because they are well-known and overused by many users.

edit: i’ve deactivated all the plugins and the problem persists.

In Posts->Edit, the posts are show in newest to oldest order. Are the 4 missing posts in the correct order there?

Yes. With the correct posting date, too.

so no one knows? The only way is to to repost them with different date and also change their initial order?
