Missing Photo Thumbnail on Older Posts

I have a wedding photo blog. WordPress with Graph Paper Press. Using NextGEN slide show plugin to display photos. The top (most recent) post will show all the photos, then the older ones underneath are compressed to the title with a single thumbnail. Until now. I updated the NextGEN plugin, but haven’t changed anything else. On the “One year shoot” you’ll see the thumbnail – that’s what I want!
But the others above it – it is title with no thumbnail. I have no idea why this is suddenly happening. I did go to the “Manage Galleries” tab in NextGEN and see the “Preview image” drop down menu, but it doesn’t display it on the most recent posts, and the older ones that do show an image on the homepage, it only shows the last image uploaded. you can see the blog here:
