Missing payment records

  • I use this plug-in on a High School Band website to raise funds for the band. I am facing one problem.

    I have enabled IPN and records show when person completed the payment or not but for some reason I find some payments in Paypal but no reference in payment records. This happens only for 1 out of 50 records but when it does it causes issues as we use payments are the master data.

    Have you checked the PayPal IPN status of the missing IPN’s?

    paypal /cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-ipns-history

    Are the missing ones on the list and marked as sent?

    Aslo you should have a reconciliation process between PayPal and your site as IPN is not 100% reliable see PayPal’s description
