Missing payment, multiple charge attempts?

Hi there. I had a customer place an order and pay through WC/Stripe. I didn’t see any notifications of a pending payment coming up on my Stripe dashboard, but I thought maybe it was just taking awhile so I went ahead and shipped the order.
2 days later, and nothing is showing on Stripe still, so I contacted them, and they see no record of the payment in their system (despite the confirmation ID). They mentioned that in viewing the logs, it looks like WooCommerce is making multiple charge attempts for each order, and that it could cause problems (later if not now). I don’t know if it’s contributing to my issue now, but is there a way I can stop that? Thanks.
