    Hi there. I had a customer place an order and pay through WC/Stripe. I didn’t see any notifications of a pending payment coming up on my Stripe dashboard, but I thought maybe it was just taking awhile so I went ahead and shipped the order.

    2 days later, and nothing is showing on Stripe still, so I contacted them, and they see no record of the payment in their system (despite the confirmation ID). They mentioned that in viewing the logs, it looks like WooCommerce is making multiple charge attempts for each order, and that it could cause problems (later if not now). I don’t know if it’s contributing to my issue now, but is there a way I can stop that? Thanks.

  • In the Stripe settings, you can enable Log Debug Messages to see what’s being sent to Stripe. Then do a test yourself, and take a look at the logs for any error signs or anything else looking off. Feel free to post what you find, and we can maybe dig further.

    Boy do I feel dumb. I went to run the test mode, and realized I had test mode already enabled. So the customer paid in test mode.

    I tried to change the order status to Pending Payment and send the payment page, but the payment page didn’t work, and then the order automatically reverted to processing (no payment page option). Now I’m stumped as to how to do this. I know Paypal has an option where you can send direct to the account; I guess I’ll have to see if Stripe has that, also.

    I remade the invoice, but now when I try to send the payment page to the customer, I get an error message that the order cannot be paid for. I’m hoping it’s just something on my end.
