Missing parameters for tracking URL of global provider

Our tracking link uses the STT Number which is the tracking number for the order.

@zorem Yes it does, but for this provider you now have to specify it in the URL by adding the parameters &refType=ShippersRefNo

If you remove the &refType=ShippersRefNo it doesn’t work anymore

We are adding a tracking number and it’s not working with Shipper’s Reference Number parameter in the URL.

@zorem It should tho, the tracking number is the Shipper’s Reference Number for dbschenker, if you do not notify it in the URL, it won’t instantly work because the Select list would be empty and customer woud have a red error message when they reach the page

@zorem there is no real “issue” with the link, what i’m trying to tell you is that the search for shipment on the dbschenker provider portal has change, you now have to specify this new parameter in the URL, otherwise, on page reach, it tells you with a red text “Please specify reference type”, and there are 20 of them, customers won’t understand and knows which one to select

@bbaldenberger Yes I know but we can not use the ‘refType=ShippersRefNo’ in the parameter because it will not work for the user who uses the STT number.

@zorem alright, would there be a workaround for us to add this paramater at the end of the generated URL ? come custom code using a hook from the plugin ?

@bbaldenberger you can add a custom provider using AST Fulfillment Manager
