    “Missing parameter: Slider”
Hola! I really like your plugin! Thank you for let us use it.
I′m having a database issue I hope you can help me with.
I had to migrate site and create new data base. Had some issues with some plugins and in those many “tries and errors” I deleted wp_nextend2_smartslider3 tables and re-uploaded backup.
After that backuped slider shows ok. I can duplicate and modify, but I can′t erase slides.
I can create a new slider but not same luck adding slides. “Missing parameter: Slider” messaje shows up.
    Thank you.

    Hi @dongabito

This “Missing parameter: Slider” error usually happens because of a database error. For instance, when some of our tables are missing. The problem can also be that (maybe due to a permission problem with the database user) no new data can be inserted to the slider’s tables.

First I suggest trying to repair the database at the Plugin list > Smart Slider 3 > Repair: https://imgur.com/CF79ihX

If the repair doesn’t help, then I suggest reaching out to your host and asking them to look into the database issue.

Another solution could be that if you can export your sliders: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/408-slider-options#export
you could do that, then remove the slider’s tables and Repair the database again. This should fix the problem they had. Then import the sliders back: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/370-import-slider#import

Solved it! Don’t know how after 5th try it worked.
After that I saw your detailed reply. Fact is that I’m not really a database manager expert. Thank you very much, great plugin and support!!
