• I had someone help me turn my html design into a theme for WP, however she did not include a page.php file and I didn’t know until now that I would need it for anything. Could someone help me figure out what needs to be in it – I am trying to maintain a constant look to my site.

  • You should just be able to copy your index.php and rename it to page.php and it should work. Then you can also modify it for any changes you might want to make. For example, the index.php probbaly shows the category. But pages don’t use categories, so to not have it show it as Uncategorized (or whatever it would show) you could delete the category from showing. Also some people don’t want comments on their pages, in which case you could delete the comments template tag.
