Hello, I’m using the Events Calendar plugin with the Hestia theme. The problem that I’m having is with the page title. By that I mean the text between the <h1> and </h1>. There’s nothing there. It’s blank.

I’m using the /events/ slug and treating that as a page in the main menu. However the page looks funny since there’s nothing displayed between the H1 tags.

The text between <title> and </title> is there. That’s no problem.

I’ve looked at different pages for help and tried some of the suggestions, but so far nothing works.

  • Hi @mperry8304!

    Thanks for reaching out.

Sometimes plugins and themes don’t cooperate as we’d like them to, but there is a workaround to get this theme working with our plugin.

It looks like the Hestia theme uses h1.hestia-title for it’s page/post titles CSS which The Events Calendar cannot pick up on. Most WordPress themes use h1.entry-title which works fine with our plugin.

You could try changing the template settings in Events → Settings → Display and change Events template to Default events template.

    Hope that helps!
