If the topic is paged, yoast doesn’t display page number in bbpress topics, but in setting it’s set to display via %%page%% by default.

    Also %%category%% variable doesn’t work.

    Hi @serezh4,

It sounds like the snippet variables aren’t displaying correctly for bbPress topics.

Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins except for bbPress and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

    Hope this helps!

I tried on 2 different websites without plugins and also with the Twenty Nineteen theme. It’s not working. I think it’s a bug.

    Hi @serezh4 ,

Can you please confirm if this used to work? Did the issue start after updating to 14.1? If you update the plugin, does the issue persist?

We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new issue for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new if you could not find any plugin conflicts.

If this is your first bug report, please check out: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/.
