Hi. This is a heads-up about a weird problem: I’m using GeneratePress Pro with GenerateBlocks and WP Show Posts. In WPSP, if the Post type is set to ‘page’ AND the content type is ‘Excerpt’ with a specified length (in this case 20 words), the WPSP shortcode returns the expected excerpt as long as the text is NOT in a GenerateBlocks grid. As soon as I put the text inside a grid, the shortcode returns NO text. If I put the text in a GenerateBlocks container, the excerpt is generated successfully – so the problem only happens when using GB grids.

If I move the text into a paragraph ABOVE the grid, the excerpt is generated. Not ideal since I’d really like the text inside the grid. Is this a known problem…and is there a workaround?
    Thanks!

    Hi Pat,

This is a known problem with GenerateBlocks in general.

Contents added within GenerateBlocks either doesn’t display or the styling breaks.

Tom has yet to find a way to make this work, unfortunately.

We apologize for the inconvenience this brings.
