Missing notification

    Hello Author,
    hope you are doing very well.

    I have an issue with the plugin.
    We are a group of authors and I am the main admin.

    I have configured the plugin to send an email whenever a post is created for review.
    The contributors send the posts for review and I don’t get any email but whenever I change the status of my post from published to pending, I receive the email.

    However, I want the system to send me an email whenever a contributor sends a post for review because they have not the role to publish directly.

    Hello Rahim,

    thanks for reporting this! Can you confirm if the post authors are using Gutenberg editor or any other? Also, is the article being sent from frontend form?

    Hi Kuba,

    We are using tinymce.

    And the writers are contributers and they write the post and send it for review.

    They use the formal backend for writing a post.

    I get the notice when i switch a published post to pending but when a post is created from contributer and has pending status, I do not get any email.

    unfortunately, we hadn’t a chance to look into this issue but I didn’t want to hold off the update.

    It’s still on our to-do list and I’ll look at it right now.

    Hmm, I cannot confirm this bug. It gets triggered for both Contributor and Admin users when they submit the post for review.

    How does your workflow look like? I mean, how this contributor sends the post? Also, are you using Gutenberg? Any Custom Fields plugin?

    The contributor is using tinymce editor as I explained the whole workflow above here.
