Missing Multiple Posts

You can contact Bluehost again and ask about backup to restore missing posts and pictures.

Started a website using singularity theme – for a test created category and post, added widget to sidebar right but when i publish it does not add so you dont see it if searched on the browser – please help!

I’ve noticed 4 posts from a certain category on my blog just disappeared.

I didn’t update any version or plugin, and they are marked published.

Help anyone??

I ended up having to figure this out on my own. I spoke to 6 different Bluehost helpers and they notified me that a bunch of my files were deleted and there was nothing they could do about it. Since I’ve paid for Bluehost to keep my files safe and backed up for the last 4 years this was very disappointing.

However after a week of my own research I finally found them myself. It was a plugin I had deactivated that deleted a bunch of my posts but the posts were still in my bluehost files. I would almost always start with looking into plugins. Check deactivated ones and one by one deactivate/activate plugins to check if the posts show up.

We just lost at least 10 posts. What can we do? (except for migrating our site somewhere safer).
