Today around 7pm (Barcelona time) the jetpack widget on dashboard has display an error like “failed to retrieve data please logout on wordpress.com and login again” … something like that.

So we goes on jetpack settings to check the “Connection Settings” tab and it was strange because the name of the account where not displayed so we clicked on “Disconnect JetPack” but an error occured and was impossible to disconnect ….

So we decided to connect to our wordpress account which is “appsystemfr” but it seems that the site appsystem.fr was not setup inside….

Can you retrieve our data and if yes migrating all the data to our current wordpress.com account ?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

With Jetpack, your stats information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats were lost.

That’s what happened on your site; it previously used a different site URL, dev.appsystem.fr

I have fixed the issue, and you should be able to get your Stats and Subscribers back by going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnecting / reconnecting to WordPress.com.

In the future, and to make sure this doesn’t happen again, I would recommend that you enable Jetpack’s Development mode on your test site:

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Could you try to deactivate the plugin, delete it from the Plugins menu in your dashboard, and then reinstall from scratch?

Let me know how it goes!
