Missing Members and Roles Issue

  • Hello,
    The plugin was working perfectly in late July. The site is still under construction and has not gone live yet. I logged in a coupled of days ago for the first time this month and noticed that I could no longer see the full list of members on the front end, which is currently at 21, but only 15 display on the front end. If I go into “users” under the WordPress admin, I can see the 21 members. Another issue is that anyone with a “Community Role” of “Admin”, but a WordPress role of “Editor” the “Ultimate Members” option box when creating a new post does no longer displays for that role. It was displaying fine before.

    The only thing that I can think off is that the site was automatically updated to WordPress 4.8.1 on August 2nd. Are you aware of any bugs with that version of WordPress?

    Hi @mrlpz,

    Have you checked your directory settings in Ultimate member -> Member directories your directory and User Roles to Display?

    We will investigate issues with Editor user roles, thanks for letting us know.

    Hi,
    Thank you for your reply. Yes, I was missing a couple of the Ultimate Member Roles in the Member Directory options. I added them and they appear fine on the member listing.

    My 2nd issue is still unresolved. I have a member set to the “Admin” role in Ultimate Member, but as an “Editor” role in the WordPress roles. That person cannot see the “Ultimate Members” Option Box when creating or editing a post that allows them to apply access restrictions to a post. If I switch his WordPress role to “Administrator” he is able to see the option box marked in red in the screenshot in the link below.
