    That schema markup, the type Article, is coming from some other plugin / theme.

    You can see the BlogPosting schema markup in the HTML code with the <!– Schema App – Default-post-8583 –> surrounding it is from our plugin.

    Why do you have both Article and BlogPosting schema markup on the page? A BlogPosting is a subtype of Article, which implies to Google crawler it is also a type of Article, a CreativeWork, etc. Its redundant and duplicate markup is not needed and can confuse the crawlers by being unambiguous.

    Hi, you are totally right, thanks a lot for your complete explanation and nice screenshot : ) I will contact the plugin’s author to resolve this.
