The top of my site which included the login/registration/search (and user name/profile link once logged in) went suddenly missing.
I haven’t touch any of the code.
I did update to version WP 4.0 in the hopes that it would come back, but no luck…so I went and loaded a backup…still no luck.
I’m at a loss as to why the “header” has gone missing, so I went into debug mode, and this is what I got…

Notice: wp_register_script was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or login_enqueue_scripts hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /home/btugam5/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3370

Again, I haven’t touched any code, so I’m not even sure how this error occurred. I’m also not sure how to fix it and get the above functionality of my site back up. Any help/assistance would be most appreciated.
    .
EDIT: Oh, I forgot…the theme I’m using is SKT full width (free version), and when I activated this theme, the above functions were automatically there, that is why I continued to use it…

    K…I figured it out!
The bar was NOT an integral part of the theme…it was from a plugin.
The plugin responsible for this is BuddyPress…which I had deactivated (but not uninstalled) earlier this morning.
Reactivating BuddyPress has brought the bar back up and the site is back to normal function.
    Sorry to trouble anyone! ??
