Missing locations

I have found that some of the locations that are actually available in openweathermap.org are not available in the plugin. IS there a way to code in specific locations/or a different workaround or is that a function of openweathermap.org? specifically Jericho, PS there is a weather site there but I cannot grab the data as it does not find the city in the settings.
