Missing “location” on all Events posts with no Venue – FEATURE SUGGESTION

    The Events Calendar allows users to submit events without any Venue specified, which is a direct violation of Google’s structured data requirements for events. All indexed events MUST have a location or Google gives an error (not a warning):

    Missing field "location"

    My suggestion for fixing this is 1) make the Venue a required field that cannot be left blank/unselected, or 2) set a default value of “No Location” for events where there is no venue (for example digital events or webinars).

    Allowing users to submit incomplete events is bad for SEO and should not be allowed.
