• I’m using Safari v1.25 on OS X and noticed that the Link Manager referred to in the wiki doesn’t appear on my dashboard. This is making it difficult to show updated links on my blog.

Any help would be appreciated. (For those of you who would recommend that I switch to Firefox – I can’t, my ram is too low. One day though =)

  • The user you are logged in as doesn’t have high enough privileges. Promote that user by logging back in as “admin” and go to “Users => Authors & Users” and promote. You need to be at least level 5 to use Links.

Thanks for responding ColdForged. I had thought of that (cause I wuz a good newbie and searched old posts =) but that’s not it cause I’m the only author, I’m the admin and it’s at Level 10.

Is it something to do with Safari? Related to the way QuickTags doesn’t work unless you uncomment something?

Has this happened to any other Mac users? (Cause it’s to the point where I’m feeling a little picked on.)
