We are only seeing about 10% of our orders flowing through to Enhanced Ecommerce in GA. Previously we got near 100%. Can you take a look at our setup and make a recommendation?

    Hi David,

Thank you for writing to us!

We did a quick look of the store & found the following outcomes:

    1. Our plugin is not configured well. You haven’t enabled the “Add Global site tracking code” option from our plugin because the Universal Analytics script is added on your store by some other GA + Ecommerce tracking plugin. Our plugin is using a new GA tracking method “gtag.js” so you need to enable that option from the plugin.

    2. In the continuation of point 1, some other plugin is currently tracking Ecommerce data from your store so our plugin is not involved in the tracking.

Suggest you use only one plugin at a time otherwise it will create duplication in data. If you want to continue with our plugin then correct the configuration first & deactivate the other plugin.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks & Regards,

The plugin that seemed to be blocking is Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP). Deactivating it is now allowing the “gtag.js” to fire. I decided to leave the “WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration” from Woocommerce. It does not seem to interfere. Can you let me know if there is any value to leaving it. Or is all that functionality picked up by your plugin. I’d prefer to remove it, but added it so long ago, I don’t remember why.

After taking another look with Tag Assistant – I was getting multiple duplicate page events. I went ahead and disabled “WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration” and I’m down to the expected events and don’t seem to have lost anything.

    Hi David,

We did a quick check of the store again & found the everything is working fine now with our plugin.

You can see the multiple page events in Tag assistant just because of the “gtag.js”. actually, Tag assist hasn’t adopted the gtag.js method. It will not fire the duplicate pageviews so don’t worry about it.

Now analyze the data for the next couple of days!

    Thanks & Regards,
