I seem to be missing alot of data in my Analytics, with the numbers being about a quarter of even less of the true number of orders we are processing.

Could you help me troubleshoot possible causes for such inaccuracy?

    Many thanks

    Hi there,

The best way to approach this is to do tests and see if the expected data is recorded. For example make a test purchase and see if that carries over to you GA account ok.

    Thanks for the reply.

I’m not sure I understand. We have genuine orders coming through on our site, between 15-50 a day, but on the analytics it is showing 2-5 transactions a day.

So there is plenty of data there – what would be different about my test purchase?

    Kind regards

    Hey @ehmarketing,

The goal of the testing is to see if any test orders you create do not carry over into your Google Statistics. You may discover a pattern when testing which can help diagnose missing transactions.

You can also test some tracking elements using this method below which should show up any errors which maybe ocurring.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
