    Good day,
    Thanks for your amazing plugin, I’m using it with the longshore theme and it works quite well. Except for some reason on my portfolio and testimonials, in the instruction it showed the tabs with languages but somehow it doesn’t work for me. It does, for example, with other pages.

    Could that be because the plugin doesn’t cooperate with the theme i purchased or is it something i can change in my settings somewhere?

    Hope to hear from you!
    Kind regards,

    Joram

    Hi,

    We visited your site and found out that those testimonials are provided by your theme.
    Our plugin provides an ability to translate only posts content. Pro version also allows translating widgets and navigation menus (Free: Pages, Posts, Post categories, Post tags, Menus (partially); Pro: custom post types, taxonomies, fields; Widget titles, Website title, Website tagline)
    More details you can find here: https://bestwebsoft.com/products/wordpress/plugins/multilanguage/

    Make sure that the necessary language is installed on your site.
    You can do it in the dashboard on the “Settings > General” page. Find the “Site Language” option and check if it present in the “Installed” section.
    If it is not, then select it from the list and save changes. After that, you may switch the WordPress back to English.
    If your theme provides the translation for the necessary language, you may see available language updates after new language is installed on the “Dashboard > Updates” page. After that, please don’t forget to open plugin settings page and enable “WordPress Language” checkbox.
    You can contact your theme developer to ask if the necessary translation is available.

    Or you can manually translate your theme:
    If you want to complete the full translation, make sure that your theme is translation-ready. As a rule, most of the themes are translation-ready, but there are some exceptions.
    Following the link below, you can find some tips on “How to make the plugin translation-ready”. The same applies to the themes.

    Also, we may need to customize the plugin to implement the ability to translate these custom taxonomies. To request the customization, please submit a private ticket here – https://support.bestwebsoft.com/.

    Thank you for your very detailed reply.

    Just to be clear: My best option is to request the customization of the plugin to make the portfolio and testimonials multilingual?

    Kind regards,
    Joram

    Dear Joram,

    Please create a private ticket on our Help Center – https://support.bestwebsoft.com/ and include:
    1. A link to this thread;
    2. Your theme ZIP archive;
    3. Describe or/and include the links to the products you use to output your portfolio and testimonials.

    This way we could define the best way for solving all these issues.
