Missing Language abbreviation (es_ES)

  • Hello,

    we recently added a new website in WordPress, we wanted to add it to the Multisite language switcher. Unfortunately a problem occurred.

    We have a total of 5 websites, the first 4 websites are using the language switcher perfectly, the 5th website has the problem that the language (e.g. es_ES) is not displayed in the WordPress menu bar. Also when I go to the Language switcher menu in one of the first 4 websites, the 5th website is not displayed, but when I go to the Language Switcher menu in the 5th website, I see all websites listed up and in the wordpress menu bar the language (es_ES) is also displayed, but when I change to another website of the first 4, the language abbreviation is gone again.

    Did I overlook a setting in WordPress here ?

    Please check the reference user first … it should be the same as in the other sites.

    i am super admin on all pages.

    But in the first 4 pages when i go to the multisite language switcher menu and i scroll down i get the message “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
    Learn more about debugging in WordPress.”

    But how can i fix this issue.

    Hello Dennis,

    on this screenshoot (https://ibb.co/N34KK1N) you can see my Problem the language of the page is missing in the wordpress main menu.

    On the second screenshoot you can see the error message i get when i go to the multisite language switcher (https://ibb.co/NpWK03D).

    Any chance to get the line from the error.log? Also as mail to [email protected] if you prefer…
