    Hi,

I’m actually testing on local server ((MacOSX/MAMP) your plugin in its free version before buying after validation for sync with google calendar and PayPal payment.

I got a problem with testing the booking form.
It works well but i don’t get all informations back in the booking panel.
I created a new champ but don’t get back in the client colomn.
If it can help, when i test new reservation in front office page, latest informations in champs appear but i got an “undefined” in this champ as default value.
Also the label is in french with an accuented character and it appears in place of the information in the back-office panel instead of the information i put in in the front office.

I hope my bug exposal is clear enough in english, i’m french.

Thanks and have a good day.

Do you have any idea of what i may miss in creating the form

Well, after new test, looks like it may come from the accuentuated character.
It worked one time but still got the problem now.

I replaced “Prénom” with “prenom” in the champ label and it worked well now but it’s a spelling mistake in french ans others languages using those characters.

Maybe an encoding type conf in the table?
Or is this a configuration misstake when i installed the plugin?

    Also one more problem.
I added a select champ and set it up as required but i can submit the form without selecting an option.

    i’m stucked on it.

    Any recommandation to resolve it?

    Thanks

    I did other tests today.
    Same problem.

I logged in PhpMyadmin to have a look in database (ea_meta_fields).

2 of the 3 custom form field i created don’t have slug registered in.
If i write one for them in PhpMyadmin and register them they are well saved.
Then if i go to the setup page in the admin page in WordPress and save again, they are cleared from database (?!).
I re-create them in PhpMyadmin without saving one more time in the backoffice setup page. Then i refresh and test my front-office form page.

The mail i receive and the booking panel in back-office are now complete with all the informations submitted in the form.

Don’t know why 2 off the 3 custom fields (and not 3/3) i create can’t be saved in DB (i’m not a full developper), but if it can help to solve it.

May i miss something when i create them? but don’t see where and why one is correctly saved.

If i could get an explanation that would be great.

    Have a good day.

    Hi @bcgraphik,

regarding “Prénom” with “prenom” and meta fields. From latest version EA will replace unicode slugs with custom_field_x so there will be no such problems. Just make sure that you map those inside custom mail templates. ??

    Best regards,
    Nikola
