Missing images

Even before upgrading to the latest version of wordpress, I uploaded 2 images to my media library. The titles were there but no image icons. I can go click on the edit button and the image shows up but it won’t load onto my page.
I checked the other images and their file URL has a string like this…https://www.domainname…/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/0-e1373193135834.png
The latest uploaded images has a file URL string like this…https://2014/03/(company logo name)-e1393995162397.png

i upgraded to the latest version of wordpress but no joy. can anyone steer me in the right direction to fix this please?
