Missing forum posts

Hello,

during the last weeks it occurred multiple times to me, that after I click “Post”, the page reloads, but my post is not there. This is quickly getting annoying while trying to support my plugin and trying to write my post again and again till it finally accepts it. As far as I can tell, there is nothing special about the posts as well. No links, nothing.

Any idea what the problem could be? Is there some kind of magic filter in the background so I should avoid certain words?

Hi,

You are correct, there is a spam filter working in the background, and it works off Akismet.

Now why it decided to pick up your posts today, I honestly couldn’t tell you (it’s powered by magic I suspect, there’s really no way of being absolutely certain why it decided to pick yours at this time).

We do go over the spam queue, so if you didn’t get an error when making a post, you can usually rest assured that we’ll be releasing it for public view as soon as one of our volunteer moderators look over the list next.
