missing file

When I tried to update, a file was missing. I did not record it. So the upgrade failed and only page titles were listed on the left toolbar not categories. I deactivated it and deleted it. I will try to roll back to the earlier version which worked but I can’t find how to get it. Documentation needs fixing re how to update or create categories.
