    Hi, I have only two authors on my website and in search console I have them indexed but I get an alert that says “Missing field “url”.

    Both authors are well in WordPress with all the data and their respective social networks. How can I fix this?

    Thank you.

    Hello @juanwp22

    Thanks for reaching out about your site schema. For some context, can you provide the URL of the author page?

    That was helpful, @juanwp22

    I can confirm that there’s "@type":["Person","Organization"] for that author page, though it should be Person for authors. This is why there is an issue with the Google Search Console.

    You are not the first to report this issue. That means a bug report has been created and is under review by our product team.

    Workaround
    The solution is to go to Yoast SEO > Import/Export, export the Yoast settings via the tab Export settings, then edit the file (in a text file), and remove the invalid company/person information. Most importantly, the company_or_person_user_id needs to be empty if it’s a company/organization or the user ID if set to a person. Once after that, import the changed settings using the Import settings tab.

    If the issue persists or you are unsure about the steps mentioned above, we’d like to access your site. If you agree with that, please let us know, and we’ll send you instructions for doing that.

    What’s next?
    Our product team will assess the severity of this problem in relation to other open bug reports and new features. Based on their assessment, the bug report will be given a priority level. Our developers work on the highest priority issues first. Unfortunately, this means we cannot give you an estimate of when they’ll start working on your report.

    If you have any further information that may affect the prioritization or help our development team solve this bug, please feel invited to reply to this email. As soon as our development team has a clear indication of which release this problem will be solved, we’ll send you an email to inform you.

    company_or_person = “company”
    company_or_person_user_id = 1

    You should remove the line “company_or_person_user_id = 1” ??

    No, just remove the figure 1. That’s all, and import the settings back. Then run the URL on Rich Results Test to confirm it is fixed.

    I have already applied it. I think it should look good tomorrow.

    After making the changes the problem continues. Also, I don’t know why the breadcrumbs were deactivated. I don’t know if it also affected something else, and I just deleted the number you told me.

    Solved. Clear the cache and that’s it. It was strange that I was disconfigured the “Breadcrumbs” but now I think I fixed it…
