    Hello!

We’re sorry you’re having trouble with schema.

You will get this message in Google Search Console if you set the page as an FAQ page but you don’t use the Yoast SEO FAQ block. So you need to use the Yoast FAQ block on that particular page. Please refer to this article on how you can use the Yoast SEO FAQ block.

    Hello!

Thanks for providing us more details. Just to verify, this feature has been working fine for the last 2 months and it just stopped working all of a sudden. Is that correct? What changes did you make before you encountered the issue? Did you update or install any plugins or themes?

We wanted to let you know that we found that Google has suddenly changed the way it wants the FAQ schema markup and in particular, the FAQ block. We have a request with our developers to look into changing it to what Google now prefers. Please note that this error is only expected to impact how Google would show the FAQ rich snippet in the Google search pages. Nothing else is expected to be impacted.

We’re going to be releasing a patch for this soon to address the issue, so please do make sure to update once it releases, and it should fix the error.

Thanks for your patience in advance!
