Missing field “mainEntity” error for FAQ pages in my GSC

    Hi team,

    So I have a number of posts/pages that use the Yoast FAQ block as I have obviously mentioned FAQs in them.

    Today, I get the error – Missing field “mainEntity” in my GSC. I have never before got this error.

    Also, upon checking these pages (containing Yoast FAQ Schema/block) in the Rich Results Test by Google, it shows that – “Not all markup is eligible for rich results. Fix these issues to make the page eligible for relevant rich results in Google Search.”

    This too never happened before.

    Please fix this issue at the earliest.

    What’s next? Our product team will assess the severity of this problem in relation to other open bug reports and new features. Based on their assessment, the bug report will be given a priority level. Our developers work on the highest priority issues first. Unfortunately, this means we cannot give you an estimate of when they’ll start working on your report.
