    Hello,
Since I installed the plugin (a week ago) I don’t have any E-Commerce data into Google and I’m getting this message in to Google Analytics:

View All Web Site Data is configured for Ecommerce, but no recent transaction data is being received. Your site may not be tagged for Ecommerce.

Google Tag Assistant Recordings can help you determine if ecommerce data is being properly sent to Google Analytics.

Do I have to do anything else besides installing the plugin and checking the Enhanced eCommerce options?

    Thank you!

    Hi @laurpm

I took a look at your site, and am able to see events such as add_to_cart and begin_checkout being successfully run against your account. In Google Analytics, you should be able to view these in your event data.

If you can see this, it means the integration is running correctly. If you cannot, then you may need to check the account ID against which these are running.

You also need to ensure that when your customers place an order, they are returned to the “Thank you” page, where their order is listed. This is the page that will trigger an actual record of your purchases.

Finally, since you are using a UA account code, please ensure you’ve followed the Google analytics steps laid out here .

    Hello,
    Thank you for your reply.
The GA is set up along with Ecommerce set-up (Enable Enhanced Ecommerce Reporting )
The customers, after the order, are taken to /some-thank-you-page-name/WooCommerce unique page ID per order

    This is correct, right?

    Hi @laurpm

The customers, after the order, are taken to /some-thank-you-page-name/WooCommerce unique page ID per order

    That is most certainly correct.

Are you able to see the add_to_cart and begin_checkout events registering in your Google analytics under events?

    Hi @laurpm

Great to know that the data is coming through. What seems to be missing though, is the transaction data.

There may be a problem with your thank you page.

This would be at https://bunromanesc.ro/checkout/order-received/(with the order id) (or something similar) and is set up in WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced

This is the page the customer lands on after completing a transaction. Your payment gateway must send the customer to this page, and everything needs to be in order on this page, for the events to track the actual eCommerce data such as the value of the transaction.

This page I cannot see, since it requires a transaction to get to. Do you think you can run a test transaction, while running a tag manager recording? You should then be able to assess if the purchase event is in fact being sent.

    Hello @nicw

Here is a screenshot from WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced

And yes, after the purchase is complete, I can see a page like https://bunromanesc.ro/checkout/order-received/ some woocommerce key IDs /

    Regarding the Tag Manager

Do I have to add custom tags there?

    Thank you very much!

    Hi @laurpm ,

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. I see that the Thank You page is correctly configured.

Just setting up the WooCommerce Google Analytics integration with Enhanced e-commerce should be enough and you do not need to add additional tags on different pages.

Could you please try by checking in a conflict safe condition? For this, you can set your theme to Storefront Theme and disable all plugins except WooCommerce and WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration — and then check if that resolves the error message you’re seeing in Google Analytics + if the eCommerce data syncs through.

Do let us know how that goes.
