After upgrading to the most recent version, I noticed that I am missing the entire footer (containing widgets) and all previous posts from my index page. The footer is also missing when wp displays a single post. The footer is still there for listing posts in a particular category.

    Examples

https://www.fsweddings.com/blog2 (earlier posts and footer missing)
    https://www.fsweddings.com/blog2/?cat=10 (footer visible)

I know this is probably a simple fix, but I am not sure what I am looking for. Any help is much appreciated!

  • at the first URL, the footer is just not being included…
THe footer is actually missing from your source code..
Check your theme files, to see if it is included correctly, or try to update your theme.

(I SUSPECT it has to do with your comments, OR the shadowbox)
Something is just truncating the footer .
What was your previous install version before the upgrade ?
(the comments were a bit changes from 2.7)

I’m not sure what the problem was, but I just copied the code for the comments section over from the archive.php page file. Seemed to work for now. I’m pretty unhappy with the commenting on this theme, and hoping to change it soon. Thanks for the reply!
