Missing data on final step

  • Hello !

    I’m using this plugin, it works very well

    But I’ve a problem on a specific thing

    I have 3 steps on my multiform

    Step 1 is working fine, then I go step 2.
    So for any reason I do not fill anything on this step and then I go directly on step 3 with the url. The data from step 2 are missing and the mail is sent.

    How can I prevent that from happening ? What I want is, if the entire fields of step 2 are missing, I don’t have access to step 3

    (In my email body, I have these tags : [project-infos] etc .. )

    Hi,

    Sorry, I seemed to have missed this question.

    You can add hidden form tags on your last step so Contact Form 7 thinks the fields exist. For example if you had a field name “first-name” on step 2, you can add [hidden first-name] on your 3rd (final) step. Contact Form 7 will now see that field either populate it with the value entered in step 2 or if step 2 was skipped it will be blank.
