Missing customer information for some of the purchase

    Hello Author first i would like to thanks for this awesome plugin.
    I am facing issue with my customer details are missing for some order’s in EDD Download > purchase history > customer & When i move to View order details customer details has no action .
    I have tried with recounting Tools > Recount status > Recount customer status update but still no changes , I am not sure how the thing went wrong.
    Now i would like to write a custom looping condition to make this to work around.
    It seems like the function runs over : final class EDD_Payment, and how can i fetch the customer & customer details, And how can i make all purchases have been matched to customers
    All the entries are available in db but still we missing out of those values, Looking forward for your kind reply.

    And is there any plugin that can read all the purchase one by one and update the purchase information something like : https://github.com/easydigitaldownloads/EDD-Recount-Earnings
    Since we are getting lot of issue with the customer missing details. We lost many customer details so its really hard to update it one by one .

    Sorry to hear you are having trouble with missing customer data. If you have the corresponding users in your system under “Dashboard” > “Users”, you can manually link them up by going to “Dashboard” > “Downloads” > “Payment History” > “View Order Details” > “Customer Details” > Search for the customer using their email address.

    Once the customer comes up in the search above, you can link them to the payment.

    Unfortunately, there isn’t a tool to automatically do this for you.

    One thing you might want to double check moving forward is that your system has “Guest Checkout” disabled. If you have customers checking out as guests, their user accounts won’t exist. To disable gues checkout, go to “Dashboard” > “Downloads” “Settings” > “Misc” > “Checkout Settings” > “Disable Guest Checkout”. Make sure that it is checked.

    Hello Johnstonphilip Thanks for your kind reply.
    I have already tried which you have mention above i got positive result by doing it mannually.
    The only thing i am looking forward is :
    Yes manually adding adding back the customer to payment is good, but the worsts thing is we are planning to out come this through code or some related plugin, So if we put the suggestion together we might get some solution for this issue i think so.

    My plan on this issue is with reading all the purchase one by one might have any solution for this, so for that i am working on that now, Is this is possible ?

    Somehow this response got missed! Sorry about that.

    Once version 2.6 of Easy Digital Downloads is released (which should be in the next month or so) any payments without customer data should automatically attach the customer to a payment.
