Missing customer information

Apologies for the inconvenience. The update 2.2.0 introduced a feature that creates WooCommerce orders upon receiving a payment confirmation webhook from PayPal. However, under certain circumstances (for instance, when using specific checkout customizations), the order creation may have been inadvertently triggered without containing all relevant buyer details.

To work around this issue, you could consider downgrading to the previous version 2.1.0, or you might want to try out this test version. This version includes a proposed fix that is planned to be incorporated in the upcoming update.

Your feedback would be immensely appreciated if you choose to try out this test version, particularly if you’re encountering the issue of empty order details with update 2.2.0. Thank you!

I tried to revert to version 2.1 and I got php errors.

Please provide more details about the PHP errors you encounter on version 2.1.0. For example, a screenshot of the complete error message would help us, as we are unaware of any errors relating to the 2.1.0 update.

We experienced the same “missing customer information” problem with version 2.2.0. Reverting to version 2.1.0 seems to have restored normal operation. After a week of using 2.1.0 again, all PayPal orders have customer fields populated properly. I assume the fix will be rolled out in the next release?

It was resolved after I downgraded to version – 2.1.
