Missing capablities

    Hi , i am using user role editor with learndash plugin which allow creating courses and lessons. User role editor doesn’t show the following capablities ” create course, create lessons, create topic, and create quiz” while it shows delete course, delete lessons, ,,,etc.

    Please note that happens in the sub domain, while user role editor show those capabilities in my main domain

    Hi,

    Is it WordPress multisite installation? Check that User Role Editor is network activated.

    No it is not multi-site install, it is a separate wordpress install in domain and subdomain. I deleted it the plugin and installed it again but still missing same capabilities. I tried to manually add the capabilities but didn’t work

    Create capability has the same value as edit capability by default. You need execute a special code to replace it with another value like ‘create_courses’ instead of default ‘edit_courses’. User Role Editor Pro has such option, for example. I suppose you have similar code executed at one site copy but don’t have at another.

    Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, i don’t have coding or programming background. So i think i will leave it now until i find a way to let teacher create their own courses

    Just a possible option: if you had WP Pro Quiz plugin installed, try to turn ON the related “WP Pro Quiz” capabilities. There is a chance that it could help to a teacher start create a courses.
