Missing background image beneath featured image

    I have a repeating background image (paper) for the whole Home page.
    When I insert a featured image, a horizontal band of white appears.

  • It seems due to this style: .singular .featured-media::before { background:#fff; }

    You could add an override to the site: .singular .featured-media::before { background:initial; }
