• I am using with Google maps different plug-ins, the events calendar and store locator. On both pages where I’m actually appear I am getting a JavaScript error. A gray box appears where the map should be. When I checked my JavaScript console, I am getting a missing API key message.

I’ve deactivated all my plug-ins, that didn’t work. I then reverted to a different theme, that didn’t work. I follow the steps given to me by modern tribes, the creator of the events plug-in to obtain API key, that didn’t work.

I originally created this site are different host, and then migrated to its current location. Could it be an issue with the host? Everything worked fine before migrated it.

Try resetting plugin folder by adding something like “HOLD”

    /wp-content/pluginsHOLD/

I tried that. No luck. I do use a security service for my website. I’m wondering if that is anything to do with it. I don’t use a security service for the platform I I built my site on, but I do on my active site.

You may want to contact them and ask.
