Missing all but two website authors when changing authorship of specific posts

Hi there! I’m hoping and wondering if you can help me solve this.

We had a website administrator leave and want to reassign all of the posts he created to a different user. Rather than deleting an assigning all content to a single user, we wanted to be a little more specific than that by selecting which post needed to be assigned. However, when we go to do this, we only see 2 authors show up when we should be seeing at least 12 show up.

In the research I’ve done, people allude that it might be a server/REST-API issue? I’ve worked with Flywheel Support on this and they’ve tried several things and cannot find where it might be a server issue.

Any insight would be helpful.
