Missing advert in header

Hi there,

I have just changed themes and I’m now using the free version of GeneratePress. However, a 728x90px Google AdSense advert in the header is no longer showing. Would appreciate help in this regard.

How was the ad added before? You will likely need to readd it.

Secondly, captions in featured images are no longer showing in articles.

Thanks for your reply. I added it using Ad Inserter, where the AdSense code still appears. Should I use a fresh code or is there additional css I should add on my site’s header area?

I’m not familiar how AdInserter works but does it allow you to choose where to display ads?

Yes, it allows you to choose before, inside or after an HTML element. However, I could try an alternative if you’re not familiar with Ad Inserter.

Just need the ad to appear on the right hand side, below the site title and primary menu.
