    Hi there,

This is Gabe, and with the latest v4.5.2 update we met some errors on our site, and I have no clue how to fix it:

    see screenshot:
    https://ibb.co/YytvGpk

“WooCommerce Blocks development mode requires files to be built. From the plugin directory, run npm install to install dependencies, npm run build to build the files or npm start to build the files and watch for changes.”

    also:
“Missing the WooCommerce woocommerce-admin package” (previously no error, though)

The question also refers if we installed WooCommerce from GitHub, and the answer is NO, it was “simply” installed via the WordPress repository, and had been working since the first install on this site, Nov, 2019. No issues, just with this version update. Other sites of mine work fine.

The site’s Store itself, BTW., seems to be working fine… I don’t know what is wrong, if anything…

Could you advise me on what should be done? (Maybe a way to reinstall Woocommerce without losing anything related?)

    Thank you in advance
    Best regards
    Gabe

    Hi there,

Well, in the meantime the last solution came to mind was to “manually reinstall” Woocommerce, so we downloaded the file from WP, uploaded, overwrote the existing one, and the error msg disappeared.

So, I think there’s nothing else to do right now.

    Thanks
    Kind regards
    Gabe
