[Plugin: Events Manager] Missing admin menu items

  • The only menu item I have in my dashboard is ‘settings’ for events manager. Where are the rest?!

    Using latest versions of everything, with buddypress and DynamiX theme. Don’t have too many other plugins. It gives no errors. But had me going around in circles until i realised the menu items simply weren’t there.

    I can see the 3 test events and use the widgets etc

    Is there something stupid I’m doing?! I haven’t changed many settings but I don’t get it why menu items would just not be visible…

  • did you try going back to default buddypress theme and deactivating other plugins. In these way we can know what could be wrong.

    could you check the settings ~ user capabilities and make sure you have the correct caps?

    also, might be worth checking a plugin/theme isn’t doing this somehow.

    Marcus – you got it! It was the user capabilities. to be fair, they were all unchecked, but the labels next to them were all gibberish, like missing 80% of the letters, so i didn’t even click what it was. i’d post you a photo, it looks fricken weird and as a result i just ignored it, but i can’t see how to attach a photo.
