  • Have you tried it with different browsers and cleared your cache?

I have the same problem as kshamadesign… Has anyone found a solution?

I have tried resetting plugins, changing to the default theme, removing spaces from the config and template files, but nothing seems to work.

    Help appreciated.

I also have this problem. As Caalldrin I have cleared cache, used different browsers, disabled plugins, replaced wp-admin and wp-includes, but nothing works.

    Anyone knows a solution?

    Greetings,

Same problem here! I have three WordPress accounts and only one has this problem, other two are running fine. Please help!

Help, please! Tried also all kind of tips from other topics but no help so far..

    Hi

It probably has something to do with php version.

I’m at bluehost with the same problem, opened a chat with them and in 1 minute the rep. changes php from 5.4 (new version) to 5.2 – and the problem was solved.

After that i’ve upgraded my WP to 3.8 and then changed php version back to 5.4, now all seem to be OK.

Thanks taco100. I just encountered this issue while installing a local version of a client site. Your suggestion worked like a charm!

Ran into this as well…after hitting lots of brickwalls with doublechecking the config file, renaming / hiding /deleting plugins, etc it was a PhP version problem.

Go to your Cpanel / PhP version control. Set the PhP version to the oldest (within reason if you have tons of choices) version available, like X.1 if X.4 is the current version. Doing that should re-establish your admin content. Then update your WPress version to make it current, and reset the PhP version to the initial setting (ie X.4).

Now, to apply ice to all that headbanging.
