  • Hello,

There aren’t usually any buttons here (unless they were added by a plugin). If you click the “Visual” tab, you’ll get the normal editing buttons (like bold, italic, alignment etc).

Also, if you click the “Screen Options” tab (top right of the screen), you’ll be able to enable the featured image and tags meta boxes.

Thank you ,but when I click on Visual tab nothing happens , and that happens with adding tags ,insert images , with all of them.I`ve tried in 3 different browsers and nothing happens ,just remain like in the screen ,in the same position.

It sounds like a JavaScript conflict of some sort. Perhaps try disabling any plugin you have installed. If you disable them one by one, checking the new post screen each time, you should be able to pinpoint which one might be causing the problem.

Done , and nothing changes ?? , thanks anyway , if somebody know what is the problem ,please announce me.

Maybe try switching to one of the default themes (Twenty Ten / Twenty Eleven).

After I updated to WordPress 3.3.2, I’m having a problem accessing the editing tools in FireFox 11 and Google Chrome when I’m trying to write a blog. In Internet Explorer 9.0 all editing tools are available

    FireFox & Google Chrome:

Visual Tab: Upload/Insert media button is the only option available and can’t see any text.

HTML Tab: can only see and access: b,i link, b-quote, del, ins, img, ul, ol, li, code, more, lookup, close tags, fullscreen

Any suggestions on how to get the tools to show up in FireFox since that’s the browser I use the most?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
