    Hi,

Your plugin works fine, it generates all sizes correctly, but I have one problem – all 150×150 px thumbnails are Zero kb. Any idea how to solve this problem?

    Thank you
    Saulius

    Hi Saulius,

Thanks for reaching out. Can you give us some more details on the issue?

    • Are you using the 150x150px thumbnails somewhere on the website, are they linked to post or pages?
    • Is the issue happening with certain types of images (png, jpg, webp, etc), or is it happening for all the images on the site?
    • On your website under Settings > Media is the Thumbnail size set to 150×150?
    • Is the ” Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)” option enabled?
    • Do you get any error or warning messages on regenerating the images?

    Hi Gouraw,

Here you can see some screenshots

Are you using the 150x150px thumbnails somewhere on the website, are they linked to post or pages?
NO. The most annoying thing is that I can’t see preview images in media, posts, pages list in wordpress

Is the issue happening with certain types of images (png, jpg, webp, etc), or is it happening for all the images on the site?
PNG and WEBP works ok, JPG generated with zero kb

On your website under Settings > Media is the Thumbnail size set to 150×150?
Is the ” Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)” option enabled?
    YES

Do you get any error or warning messages on regenerating the images?
    NO

    Hi @sdumbliauskas,

Thank you for providing us with screenshots and giving further details of your setup.

We tried to replicate the issue you’re describing on our end, and we could not reproduce it. Upon looking closer at your screenshots, we noticed something suspicious in the second screenshot, however.

It seems like you have a lot of different image sizes set up on your site, which are probably coming from other plugins and/or the theme you have installed on your site. We can see that there are a few of them that are actually 150×150 (the default thumbnail, but also rpg_gallery_admin_thumb and rpg_gallery_thumb).

The best way to rule out any conflicts with your plugins and/or themes is by testing without any plugins or themes.

Try disabling all of your plugins except Regenerate Thumbnails. Then try testing again to see if the issue persists. If that resolves your issue, you can find what was causing it by enabling each plugin one by one while continuing to test.

If that doesn’t help, you can also try switching to the Twenty Twenty theme via Appearance > Themes, and test again. If the issue is resolved then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you’ll need to contact the theme author for further assistance.

If you’d rather not do this on your live site, many hosts provide a staging service, where you can do testing without affecting the live site. You can ask your host about this. If they don’t give you a staging site, you could try WP Staging or Duplicator:

Let us know how it goes!
