Misleading webiste – good plugin

  • I like the plugin. Perhaps even love it. I don’t like their attitude that when you go to purchase it, no where did I see that it is an annual fee. I thought it was a once only fee and was happy to purchase it as I am here on Cyber Monday with a generous 40% discount.
    the plugin takes about 40 minutes to get through, perhaps more. I do like it as once it is done, then it is done. If I want to purchase it however, I’ll be looking for another plugin.
    But the Privacy and Disclaimer pages only go with the PRO version – paid annually.

    Thank you for your feedback. We’ll review the website with our team to determine if this needs adjusting.

    We have no intention of misleading Complianz users and do our best to be very clear about our pricing structure. We do communicate “1 year of support and updates” right below the prices on our pricing page, and “billed yearly” right below the price on the checkout page.

    We do our very best in providing the most comprehensive Privacy plugin that is available for free, with support for EU and US legislation, with Canada coming soon. Again, all for free. We have added our Premium plugin with additional legal documents drafted by a specialized IT lawyer. We continuously provide legal and technical updates and support, for which we charge $ 55 one-time, and yearly for continued support and updates. Users that cancel their subscription can still continue to use the plugin.
