tlivian,
Sorry but I have to disagree. We clearly state in the description that the restore feature is for the premium plugin only. I also spent a number of hours writing a post that tells you how to do it yourself if you prefer to not pay for the premium plugin.

Additionally, we provide free support to lite(free) customers when they have questions or need help restoring their site manually. From my point of view this isn’t misleading and feel that we are providing a tremendous amount of value to the community for free.
Most of our customers actually purchase the premium plugin way before they need to restore because they love the product and want to support it. However, some customer do wait until they have an issue and then purchase, which is fine with us too. We feel like this is a benefit because it allows our lite customers to know that they have their site content backed up with a professionally developed and supported plugin for at no cost to them. And then if they ever do run into trouble and need to restore then they can either do it themselves or simply purchase the premium plugin, click one button and restore their site.
I know that you will probably not agree with anything I said but I suggest you try WPBackItUp out for yourself and then post your review here IF we somehow fall short on anything I have stated. I would also like to ask you to rate the product based on your experience with WPBackItUp not on your unhappiness with the cost of the premium plugin.
Thanks and good luck to you.
Chris
