• From what I see in the code, this plugin just changes the folder in which the JSON files from ACF are saved, from the theme folder to the uploads folder.

    In my opinion, this just makes sense if you have permissions problem when writing to the themes folder.

    Hi David! Yes you are probably right. When ACF local JSON feature was released nobody was using it. So i made this plugin to allow simple way to boost ACF performance without modifying existing theme or plugins. Probably it is time to retire this plugin.

    Maybe it’s ok to leave it, but just changing its name. It could still be useful in those cases in which you want to save the json files to the uploads folder instead of the theme folder…

    Something like “ACF JSON to Uploads”
